*Supplies Needed*
PSP - and a photo image of your choice
an before and after example
Open your chosen image in psp
I used an older picture of my son and daughter
duplicate your image - we will be working on the duplicate
go to adjust - add remove noise - despeckle
then go to adjust - add remove noise - Texture Preserving smooth
amount of correction 50 ok
go to adjust - blur - Gaussian blur - set to 4
then go to adjust - add remove noise - add noise
using these settings - Gaussian ticked Noise 4 Monochrome ticked
on your duplicate layer right click on the layer and select
New mask layer - select from image
select your image from the drop down ok
you will be working on the new mask layer
change your foreground to black
make sure now that the new mask layer is activated
activate your air brush tool - now comes the fun part :)
you will want to use a round brush - size will depend on your image..
let's start with the eyes, I set my brush to size 10
use the brush to go over just the eyes, and eyelashes,
then the eyebrows
adjusting your brush size accordingly
then do the lips and hair and clothing, but do not do the skin
or you will brush away the smoothness
when all finished with your brushing merge visible
There are many ways to edit photos,
this is just one of the ways I like to do it.
the reason for the masking is to bring back the brightness
of the eyes, eyelashes, brows, hair, clothing
but makes for a smooth skin effect
