I made screenshots to add gradient glow
the way I mostly do it for names
I type out the name - convert to raster layer
and if you want to add noise to the glow part of the name
I 1st duplicate the name layer and add gradient glow to the
bottom name layer, when adding noise I usually use Random around 50% or so
then merge the name layer down and add a drop shadow.
If adding noise to the name part ( 1st name layer )
you won't need to duplicate the name.
Add noise then the gradient glow, And drop shadow
For credits, depending on the tag
I mostly use same gradient glow setting minus the add noise bit
but on avatars I use a mostly a white glow
I have two avatar settings I use
